Celebrations Service Staff Duties
Minimum of 3 required for up to 100 guests
Prior to event start time:
Dress tables with additional décor & favors as provided / specified by client
Prep buffets, drink stations, cake table(s), entry & gift tables as necessary
Light candles on each table
Add any glitter or confetti as specified
Prep drink station, start fountain, punch, tea, water, coffee, etc.
Assist vendors as necessary
During event:
Refill drink stations as necessary
Invite each table to dinner buffet
Attend buffet as server (ensure portion control, speed, service)
Bus / clear tables as necessary
Provide cake cutting service if specified by client
Walk through of all common areas for neatness
Keep trash emptied
Attention to bathrooms as necessary
Attend spills as necessary
Change out buffet as specified ( from appetizers to desserts, bar snacks, coffee service, etc )
Prepare / collect items for clients to take at end of event
After event:
Clear all tables
Inspect all table linens for damage / stains
Remove all trash
Remove & Repackage all decorations for future use
Sweep, mop, and vacuum
Clear all debris from outside common area & parking area
Make record of any damage, stains or items needing further attention
Service Staff is required at all events hosted at Celebrations Receptions & Parties. Events with more than 100 guests will require an additional Service member for every 50 guests. Events with alcohol will require an additional Service member for every 35 guests. Bar Staff is not included in the Service Staff numbers as they have specific duties not covered by Service Staff members. This is a general guideline and should be adapted for occasions with passed foods, carving stations, and larger menus.
Gratuity is not included in the Service Staff fee.
